Trước tình hình tội phạm chống người đồng tính ngày càng gia tăng, chính quyền bang muốn thu hút nhiều sự chú ý hơn đến những hành vi như vậy bằng một chiến dịch mới.

Thượng nghị sĩ xã hội Cansel Kiziltepe cho biết: “Với chiến dịch của mình, chúng tôi muốn khuyến khích những người đồng tính và những người khác bị ảnh hưởng bởi bạo lực không chỉ chấp nhận những lời lăng mạ, tấn công và bạo lực mà còn nhanh chóng báo cảnh sát”.

Chiến dịch mang tên “Bạn chỉ có 48 giờ - đừng ngủ trong đó” bắt đầu vào ngày mai, thứ Hai 16.12.2024. 

Tiêu đề đề cập đến thực tế pháp lý rằng các đoạn video trên xe buýt, xe lửa và nhà ga chỉ được lưu trữ trong 48 giờ. Người ta nói rằng thời gian này phải được sử dụng để các hình ảnh có thể được đánh giá nhanh chóng và có thể xác định được thủ phạm. 

Alfonso Pantisano, đại diện của người đồng tính ở Berlin cho biết: “Chúng ta hãy cùng nhau làm việc để làm cho tình trạng bạo lực chống lại người đồng tính ngày càng gia tăng trở nên rõ ràng, bởi vì đây là cách duy nhất chúng ta có thể chống lại nó một cách hiệu quả”. “Những hành vi này phải được báo cáo – và nhanh chóng.” Chiến dịch nên được chiếu trên không gian quảng cáo trong hệ thống giao thông địa phương của Berlin và trên truyền hình hành khách “Berliner Fenster”.

Tội phạm chống người đồng tính đang gia tăng ở Đức, điều này được thể hiện qua báo cáo tình hình hiện tại của Văn phòng Cảnh sát Hình sự Liên bang (BKA). Theo thông tin từ BKA, vào năm 2023, cảnh sát đã ghi nhận tổng cộng 17.007 trường hợp tội phạm tấn công lăng mạ người đồng tính trên toàn quốc (Trong đó có 1.785 tội phạm nhắm vào người đồng tính nữ, đồng tính nam, song tính, chuyển giới, liên giới tính và người đồng tính. 

Theo đó, Văn phòng Cảnh sát Hình sự Liên bang (BKA) cảnh báo, hiện nay, số vụ việc được đăng ký với cảnh sát đã tăng khoảng 50% so với năm ngoái, con số đáng báo động.
